Students begin to strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and apply active surveillance principles and techniques in aquatic facilities. The importance of teamwork and communication are emphasized in this course. Prerequisites: Bronze Medallion (does not have to be current). 100 % attendance is mandatory for completion. Candidates develop the fundamental values, judgement, knowledge, skills and fitness required by lifeguards.
