This July 1, join the City of Nanaimo in celebrating our nation's 147th birthday. From 11:00 am until 3:30 pm come down to Maffeo Sutton Park for Nanaimo's Canada Day 2014 festivities.

It's a great day for all ages to stay in town and show their national and community pride. Everyone can enjoy the Celebration of Flags and Opening Ceremonies, multicultural food fair, Nanaimo Downtown Farmers’ Market, interactive booths and roving & live entertainment throughout the day.

The City of Nanaimo Canada Day 2014 festivities are in partnership with Canadian Heritage, The Wave 102.3 FM, The Wolf 106.9 FM and Columbia Bakery.
