Westwood Lake lifeguards on duty starting June 28

Summary
It's offically summer which means spending more time outside. The City of Nanaimo Parks, Recreation and Environment department is pleased to announce lifeguards will be on duty at Westwood Lake daily from 12 pm to 6 pm starting June 28 until September 7, 2015.
Sunday, July 19 kicks off National Drowning Prevention Week at Westwood Lake. From 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm visitors to Westwood Lake can participate in some great activities while learning about water safety.
