Upcoming filming may affect Nanaimo commutes

Downtown core and Brechin areas affected

Summary

Drivers are advised to be aware of traffic and parking disruptions the week of May 15, 2017 while filming for the television series, Chesapeake Shores takes place. A road closure and limited parking availability will occur in the downtown core and Brechin area.

The City of Nanaimo has a number of parkades available in the downtown core with rates starting at $0.75 for the first two hours up to a maximum of $9.00 for 24 hours and free evenings and weekends. See the www.nanaimo.ca/goto/parking for more information on locations and rates.
