City names Interim CAO
Jake Rudolph joins City July 16

Summary
Nanaimo City Council has appointed Jake Rudolph to the position of Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Mr. Rudolph is an experienced municipal CAO having served for almost 13 years as the CAO for the City of Pitt Meadows in addition to other senior roles with Abbotsford, Maple Ridge and Fredericton, NB. He holds both an MBA as well as a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning, and currently serves as the BC representative with the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators.

- To allow a transition between Councils following the municipal election in October 2018, the term of the assignment is until March 31, 2019.
