Find the Golden Bucket Contest is Back with a Twist

Summary

The City of Nanaimo, Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture is inviting adventurous residents to "Search for the Golden Bucket" again this year. This time, however, players will not find an actual golden bucket in the parks but will be searching for a Golden Bucket sticker with a QR code on it. Once scanned on a smart phone, the QR code will take participants to a webpage where a question on that park will be posted. Once the question has been answered, it can be submitted on that webpage for a chance to win weekly prizes and also the chance to win the grand prize of a kayak tour for up to 5 people courtesy of Coastal Expression Adventure Centre that is valued at $300!

Clues will be posted each Wednesday until July 29 on the City's Facebook page, Twitter feed, Instagram (@nanaimoparksandrec) and on the website.
