Summary

Last summer and fall during the first phase of REIMAGINE NANAIMO, citizens shared many ideas for Nanaimo’s future. The second phase of the project is all about exploring options. The next 25 years will bring many changes to our city; what big decisions should Nanaimo make as we grow from 100,000 today to a future 140,000 residents?

It's time to confirm our goals, test directions, and discuss the big ideas that will form the foundation of our City Plan. Visit the link below to get involved the following ways:

  • Comment on the Draft REIMAGINE Foundations now at: https://www.getinvolvednanaimo.ca/reimagine-nanaimo
  • Sign-up now for one of the Our City, Our Choices Scenario Workshops (to be held July through September)
  • Sign-up now to receive your own Our City, Our Choices Self-Guided Scenario Booklet (available starting in July)

Phase 2 will be open from June 28, 2021 until September 20, 2021. Watch for announcements of more events this summer and fall. Prizes available for participating!
