Summary

The second phase of REIMAGINE NANAIMO is all about exploring options for Nanaimo’s future. As we grow from 100,000 today to a future 140,000 residents over the next 25 years, there are many potential paths we can take. The REIMAGINE NANAIMO Scenario Review provides an opportunity to try out different development paths and understand the impacts on the environment, economy, community wellbeing and connectivity.

Nanaimo residents are invited and encouraged to participate in the Scenario Review in the following ways:

Phase 2 is open from June 28, 2021 until September 20, 2021. Watch for announcements of more events this summer and fall and follow the project at www.getinvolvednanaimo.ca/reimagine-nanaimo.
