Voting Day for the 2022 General Local Election is this Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022.

On General Election Day, eligible electors can vote at any of these voting locations, open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.:

Beban Park Social Centre, 2300 Bowen Road
Chase River Elementary School, 1503 Cranberry Avenue
City of Nanaimo Service and Resource Centre, 411 Dunsmuir Street
Dover Bay Secondary School, 6135 McGirr Road
Georgia Avenue Elementary School, 625 Georgia Avenue
Nanaimo District Secondary School, 355 Wakesiah Avenue
Protection Island Fire Hall (poll open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), 26 Pirates Lane
Randerson Ridge Elementary School, 6021 Nelson Road
Salvation Army Church, 505 8th Street
Uplands Park Elementary School, 3821 Stronach Drive
Wellington Secondary School, 3135 Mexicana Road
Woodlands Secondary School, 1270 Strathmore Street

Key Points

General Voting Day is Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022.
Eligible electors can vote at any of the twelve voting locations throughout Nanaimo open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Protection Island voting location is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Preliminary results of the election will be announced after 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 and posted on the City's website.
Approximately 4,430 votes were cast during the two advance polls on Oct. 5 and 12. During the 2018 General Local Election, 4,970 votes were cast in the advance polls.
