City seeking input on community's preferred communication methods

Summary

The City of Nanaimo has launched a survey to gain insight into how residents receive information on City news, events, programs and initiatives. The survey is now available on the City's Get Involved site until June 5, for anyone interested in providing input on this topic.

Survey responses will inform the City on where residents go to get City information and improvements to consider. Community members can share their thoughts at www.getinvolvednanaimo.ca/2023-communications-survey.

Key Points

Results will help inform updates to the City’s Communications Plan which was last updated in 2013.
The survey can be found on www.getinvolvednanaimo.ca and will be open until June 5.
Residents will be asked to provide preferences on where they go to get City information, thoughts on current City communications and the topics of information in which they are interested.
Printed copies of the survey are available for anyone requiring one. Residents can pick one up at any City facility or call 250-754-4251 to have one mailed to them.
