The City of Nanaimo opens nomination period for outstanding organizations and individuals in arts and culture

The City of Nanaimo is seeking nominations from the community for the 2025 Culture Awards. The awards recognize outstanding organizations, groups and individuals in arts and culture.
This is the community's opportunity to recognize people and groups they believe have contributed significantly to making Nanaimo a culturally vibrant city. There are three categories for nominations; recipients will be recognized at a special FREE celebration at the Port Theatre on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025:
Nominations and support material can be submitted directly online via the City of Nanaimo website. For full details, to learn about past award recipients, see video profiles and access the online application, visit the Culture Awards page on www.nanaimo.ca. The deadline to submit applications is Monday, December 2nd, 2024 by midnight PST.
