City seeks members for new Nanaimo Performing Arts Guild

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is now accepting applications for eight volunteer members-at-large for the new Nanaimo Performing Arts Guild (the Guild). Guild members will work cooperatively with the City toward maintaining the Old Victoria Arts Centre at 25 Victoria Road as an accessible, inclusive and sustainable venue for the Nanaimo performing arts community.

The term for this position will be 24 months.

Those interested in applying are encouraged to visit the City website to review the terms of reference before submitting an application. Residents of Nanaimo who have performing arts experience and wish to make a difference in their community are encouraged to apply. Application forms can be submitted online, downloaded from the City’s website or picked up from Legislative Services in City Hall (455 Wallace Street).

Applications will be accepted until 4 pm on Wednesday, October 16.
