City seeking feedback for Woodgrove Area Plan urban centre project

Summary

The City of Nanaimo is beginning a project to create a plan for the Woodgrove area. As part of the project, the City is seeking feedback from the community on what they think is needed to transform the area into a vibrant urban centre with a mix of residential, commercial, park, recreational and cultural components.

The purpose of the Woodgrove Area Plan is to provide a more detailed land use and policy guidance for future development in this urban centre. The boundaries of this area can be seen in red on a map of the Woodgrove Area Plan Boundary. The Plan is intended to build on the vision in City Plan: Nanaimo ReImagined.
