Nanaimo City Manager announces his departure

Summary
Nanaimo's City Manager, Ted Swabey, has announced to Council his decision to depart City Hall having accepted a new position as the Chief Adminstration Officer for the City of Maple Ridge. Mr. Swabey's last day as head of Nanaimo's city administration is set for November 13. A meeting of Council will be convened in the coming days to begin the process of filling the City Manager position.
