Description

Named after the Beban Family who lived on the 160 acres of land from 1930s-1950s Beban Park is Nanaimo's premier recreation complex offering activities for everyone. You'll find some of the city's key recreational facilities and amenities located here; arenas, indoor swimming pool, social centre, soccer fields, playground, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball hoops, equestrian centre, bike parks, community gardens, fitness circuit, dog off-leash area, golf course and driving range, two artificial turf fields, BMX track and a dog park.

**PLEASE NOTE that access to the Artificial Turf Fields (including Merle Logan Field) is off Dorman Road (2253 Dorman Road).
