Seventh Street Pump Station Upgrades

Back to map

Project Description

The majority of the work will be in the sanitary pump station located at 396 Seventh Street on the northeast corner with Park Avenue. It includes the installation of the two pumps in the second wet well. This is part of the plan and adds robustness and redundancy to the system. There are some improvements inside the wet wells for better access for regular maintenance and cleaning.

On the roadside, there will be upgrades to three odour control boxes. They are located off the road lane along right-of-way frontage at 310 Seventh Street, 210 Seventh Street, and 206 Seventh Street.

The construction management is coordinated by Chandos Construction. Site office mobile 587-888-6421.

General Considerations

The sanitary pump station will continue to function with no service disruptions. There may be some times of increased odour as the wet well hatches will be open during the construction activities.

Typical construction hours will be 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Traffic delays will be minimal.
