This bylaw would allow the City to borrow up to $90 million to finance the cost of replacing the fleet maintenance building and crew/administration building at the public works yard.

The AAP began on Sept. 18, 2024, and ran for 42 days, providing an additional 12 days beyond what is legislatively required. The deadline for the receipt of elector response forms for “Public Works Yard Updates Borrowing Bylaw 2024 No. 7386” was 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, 2024.

On the basis of the elector response forms received before the deadline, the Deputy Corporate Officer has determined and certified that elector approval, in accordance with Section 86 of the Community Charter, has not been obtained.

Number of Valid Elector Response Forms received prior to the deadline: 8,655
