POOLS
With a variety of public drop-in swimming and aquafit times available, swimming lessons, aquatic training and water sports for children, youth and adults, it is easy to understand why Nanaimo's pools are so popular! Aquatic programs and events are held at:
Beban Pool
Located within the larger Beban Park complex, Beban Pool includes a leisure pool area with spray features and lazy river, a tot pool, aquacise pool, a 25 metre length pool, water slide, hot tub, steam room and 1 metre and 3 metre diving boards. Overlooking the pool deck is a weight room with both free weights and stationary fitness equipment.
