Renew your Business Licence

If you have received a Business Licence Renewal Notice and would like to make payment online, you can do so via this link: https://secure.nanaimo.ca/web/ecom/SelectPayableItem.aspx.

Before submitting payment, please take a moment to carefully review your business licence invoice to ensure that your business address, mailing address and contact information is current and correct. The information you provide is important to us, but did you know that it is also available on the City of Nanaimo's Business Licence search?  So, help us help others easily find you and your business via the City's Business Licence Search option by providing accurate information.

For businesses that are mobile and provide a service to other communities, the City of Nanaimo has partnered with surrounding communities and now offers an inter-community business licence.  If you currently have licences to cover several communities, the inter-community licence may be a better option for your business.  For more information, or to include this option to your current business licence, please contact the Business Licensing Section or check out our webpage Get a Business Licence.

If you have decided to not pursue business in Nanaimo in the upcoming year, please contact the Business Licensing Section before December 31 so your account can be closed.
