🧯 Fire Inspections – City of Nanaimo

Nanaimo Fire Rescue helps ensure a safe and healthy community through regular inspections of public buildings. Under the British Columbia Fire Services Act, the department is mandated to inspect all public buildings to ensure compliance with the BC Fire Code.

🕵️ Fire Cause Investigation

In addition to inspections, Nanaimo Fire Rescue conducts thorough investigations to determine the cause of all fire incidents. This helps improve prevention strategies and reduce future risk.
