Development Engineering & Environmental Protection

Our Development Engineering Section works directly with several City divisions and is responsible for the review and coordination of development-driven engineering works (i.e. road design, servicing, access, erosion and sediment control, etc.).

Our Environmental Protection Section is responsible for the review of tree and environmental protection, the enforcement of illegal tree removal, and environmental infractions related to City bylaw requirements. (Note: Our Environmental Protection Section is not responsible for enforcement of infractions to Provincial or Federal Statutes or Regulations. For these please contact the agency having jurisdiction).
