Change Your MyCity Profile Email Address

Occasionally users change email service providers and/or no longer have access to old email accounts. When that happens, there are two options to access your City accounts information through our website:

  1. If you CAN'T log into your old MyCity Profile AND you no longer have access to your old email account for password recovery:
    • Set up a new MyCity Profile with a new email address and link all of your accounts to it. (You will need at least one old tax notice, user rate bill and/or building permit folder access code for each account to add them to your new Profile. Follow the instructions in the account creation section of your new Profile for more details on setting up each respective account.)
    • Here are some instructions on setting up a new MyCity Profile and adding your accounts to it.
  2. If you CAN log into your MyCity Profile OR you have access to your old email account for Profile password recovery:
    • Log into your MyCity Profile with the old email address.
    • Clicking on the Update Profile button.
    • Click on the Account Management page link in the alert box at the top of the page.
    • Enter the new email address in the Email field, click the checkbox to prove you are not a robot, then click Change Email Address.
    • Our system will now email you a confirmation at your new email address. Please check your email inbox for the email with link. If you do not see the email within 5 minutes, also check your junk or spam folders. Once you have found the email, click on the confirmation link to start using the new email address on your account.
    • You will arrive back at the website with a confirmation message that you have updated your email and/or arrive on the website Dashboard page. Click on the Visit MyCity button to return to MyCity to view your accounts.
