New vision for Tourism Nanaimo underway
Tourism in Nanaimo will soon take on a different form with the kick off of an engagement process to determine how the industry will market the city and its amenities. A leadership committee will also be formed with members from the tourism sector. The process is expected to take several months and, in the meantime, destination marketing and development services for Nanaimo will temporarily be taken over by Tourism Vancouver Island.
