The City of Nanaimo Parks and Recreation department is nearing completion in switching over to a new registration software program called PerfectMind. An email was sent out on August 16, 2018 from PerfectMind to a group of Parks and Recreation account holders that were manually transferred over to the new software.

If you received an email yesterday from the City of Nanaimo with the program called PerfectMind, this email is legitimate. Unfortunately, we weren't able to customize and include the City logo to show it was a City of Nanaimo-led initiative and we apologize for any confusion or concern that was caused.

The email includes a temporary password that you can use to log in and customize your account and choose a new password. If you don't wish to do online registration, you may delete this email.

For those who didn't receive a temporary password, you can create your online account now and get ready for registration day on August 22. Just visit recreation.nanaimo.ca and click on the button "Register for a Program" it will take you to a screen where you can create your account. Please note: you will not be able to register until August 22 at 6:00 am.
