Alert Issued for Extreme Winter Storm Event and Road Advisory

An alert was issued this morning to residents registered for the City's emergency notification system, Voyent Alert. The informational alert included the following details:

"With the overnight winter storm, road conditions this morning (Thursday, January 6, 2022) are hazardous. Please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary to allow plows time to clear. In addition, City recreation facilities are closed until at least 12 p.m. today and recreation programs are cancelled. 

Priority 1 routes are being maintained, but plows have not been able to move to side streets."

Residents can stay updated by checking the City website, following the City's social media channels (Facebook or Twitter) or listening to the local radio stations.
