City Single Sign-On

You can access City of Nanaimo online services using our login system called City Single Sign-On.

If you are unable to login to your MyCity account, please reset your password.

Some of these services include:

• What's Building in My Neighbourhood
• City Calendar
• Casual and Temporary Employment
• MyCity for permitting, property taxation, utilities and more NEW!

This system allows you to use one City of Nanaimo account to access all of these services, and to connect Google and/or Facebook accounts for more ways to log in. At the same time, your account is more secure with new options like 2-Factor Authentication (through Google and Facebook) and stronger passwords.

MyCity Now Using City Single Sign-On

We switched from a separate sign in for MyCity to the City Single Sign-On in December, 2021. This requires all users without existing City Single Sign-On accounts to reset their passwords. Luckily, this is an easy process or you can log in using either a Google or Facebook account. (This works automatically if you have the same email address associated with your MyCity account as on your Facebook or Google account.)

Can't Find Your Accounts?

If you log into your MyCity profile using City Single Sign-On and don't see your tax or other accounts, you may have a profile under a different email address. Please log out and try logging back in with another email address.
