Join Parks, Recreation & Culture this Family Day (February 17) for many fun ways to celebrate!

FREE EVENTS HELD AT OLIVER WOODS

Drop in for FREE FAMILY FUN from 9 am-2:30 pm. 

We will have gym pals, bouncy castles, a photo booth, arts & crafts, face painting, storytime & songs, a Storywalk® and activities with Nanaimo Science and Nanaimo Foodshare. (Please pre-register for storytime & cooking sessions starting on Wednesday, January 29 at 6 am.)

  •  9-11 am - OPEN GYM
  • 11 am-12:30 pm - STICKS & BALLS
  • 12:30-2:30 pm - HOOPS/BASKETBALL

LUMINOUS PATHS - NANAIMO'S 150 & BEYOND

Join us at Maffeo Sutton Park from 4-8 pm for the closing events, a winter festival that is a celebration of light, art, land and community to mark the first council meeting 150 years ago for the newly incorporated City of Nanaimo. Go here for more information.
